Olympic Class Starship

Olympic Class Starship

The Olympic class starship has only been seen on Star Trek as the U.S.S. Pasteur in the final episode of the Next Generation series. The model was built by Bill George, one of the big guys in the starship construction biz, during his spare time, and they decided it would work nicely for the Pasteur (saved some bucks too!) It looks to be about 3 feet long. I don't quite know why, but I really like the look of the windows and lifeboats on the foreward hull. Maybe one day I'll try to build one.

The first picture is scanned from Star Trek: The Continuing Mission, and the next two are from the new Star Trek Encyclopedia. Click on the thumbnails to view the larger pictures.

These pictures are vid-caps found in alt.binaries.startrek. While I am trying to aviod using other peoples pictures, there are not many pictures of the Pasteur on the net, and these show some different angles of the ship. The last pic is of a pretty nice looking model someone built. I don't remember where I found it, but maybe it will give us all a little motivation to actually FINISH SOMETHING.
