This page is here to provide some hard to find reference pictures of studio models from Star Trek, specifically designed with the modeller in mind (or something like that). The site is divided into sections, each focusing on a specific ship or class. I try to use photographs of each model in natural light, since these tend to be better references than finished effects shots, particularly video captures. I have also made quite a few video captures for the site. Of course, submissions of reference material are gladly accepted :-).

The new magazine, conicidentally called Star Trek: The Magazine, has featured some excellent pictures of the newer starships. I was delighted to find that volume II had a feature on the U.S.S. Prometheus, with truly beautiful five view rendering of the ship and it's component ships. A new page has been added to the Prometheus section for these pictures.

Volume I of the new magazine brings us some really nice Akira renderings. This was apparently the most detailed of the CGI models built for First Contact, which is why we have been seeing so much of it.

I've been gradually collecting pictures for a while, and have put together a new Excelsior section detailing all three versions of the ship. There are some old pictures of the original NX-2000 version, as well as new scans of the U.S.S. Lakota.

Coming Soon
The first of the modeller's gallery pictures WILL be up next week (somebody shoot me if they're not!). Several people have sent me pictures of some really nice models they've built, which I'll have up soon. Feel free to submit pictures of your science fiction models, and I'll put 'em up.

Here's a couple of bonus pix, until I find a better place for them...
