Once again, the Trek effects guys have crammed mucho detail into the 3D model. If you look closely, you can see in the windows (I guess that sort of thing is fairly easy to achieve with CGI). I also find the "blowhole" near the front of the hull interesting (secondary deflector maybe?), it seems clear that the designer has deliberately sunken the area around it to achieve a whale effect.

The "slipstream" drive really gets this ship moving (most of the shots were really just a blur), and the whole thing glows when coming out of slipstream. These pictures also show the emphasis on marine animal-ish curves.
